Zip Mail logo: an origami Z folded like a paper plane Zip Mail

Mail that arrives the moment it’s sent.

A native mail client for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. It does everything Apple Mail does, adds a small set of well-chosen extras, and gets new mail to your lock screen in seconds instead of minutes.

No ads, no trackers, no selling your data.

Features

Everything you expect from Mail, and the few things you wish it had.

Zip Mail keeps Apple Mail’s layout and habits, so there’s nothing to relearn. The extras are there to help you reach an empty inbox sooner.

  • Instant delivery

iOS doesn’t let mail apps hold a connection open in the background, so Apple Mail checks your IMAP mail on a schedule, sometimes only every 15 minutes or longer. Zip Mail’s push relay watches your inbox for you and sends new mail to your devices in about 1–3 seconds, even while your iPhone is locked.

Instant delivery is part of Zip Mail Pro and is still in development; it isn’t switched on in the first beta. Without it, Zip Mail checks for mail whenever it’s open and in the background as often as iOS allows.

  • Everything Apple Mail does

Unified inbox, the full folder tree, flags, rules, Smart Mailboxes, VIPs, Remind Me, Send Later, Undo Send, Mute, S/MIME and more. Nothing you rely on is left out.

  • Liquid Glass design

Built natively for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26 and watchOS 26. Glass is used for toolbars and controls only, so your messages stay crisp and easy to read.

  • Smart remote content and tracker blocking

Images load without prompts, but tracking pixels, tracker hosts and link-tracking redirects are removed first. Mail that looks suspicious, such as a failed sender check or a lookalike domain, has its images blocked until you choose to show them.

  • Junk and one-tap unsubscribe

Mark junk from anywhere and it trains your provider’s filter. Unsubscribe uses the sender’s one-click method when there is one, and Zip Mail points out senders you never open.

  • Reply Later and Awaiting Reply

Park messages you need to answer, then work through them in one pass. Awaiting Reply keeps track of messages you’re waiting on and reminds you when nobody has answered.

  • Business and Tax export

Invoices, receipts and tax forms from every account and folder, gathered in one place with vendor, date, total and tax. Export a ZIP with a CSV index for your accountant. Everything runs on your device.

  • Verification-code AutoFill

Sign-in codes sent by email appear above the keyboard as “From Zip Mail”, in Safari and in apps, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Codes stay on your device and are removed after use.

  • Replies in your own voice

Apple Intelligence learns how you write from your Sent mail, on your device. Quick replies and drafts then sound like you. Your writing style is never uploaded in readable form and never used for training.

  • iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch

A real Mac app with three-pane and classic layouts, full menus and a ⌘K command palette. iPad gets keyboard shortcuts and multiple windows. Apple Watch gets quick triage and complications.

  • Snooze
  • Bundles
  • Split inbox
  • Snippets
  • Sender cleanup
  • Package and flight cards
  • Inline RSVP
  • Instant local search
  • VoiceOver and Dynamic Type
Privacy

Your mail is not our business model.

We make money from Pro subscriptions, not from your inbox. Here’s what that means in practice.

Your device does the work

Syncing, search, sorting, summaries, writing style and receipt extraction all run on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, using on-device Apple Intelligence. Your mail stays with your mail provider.

We don’t keep your mail

The relay reads a short preview to build a notification, then forgets it. The only message content it ever stores is a message you schedule with Send Later, kept encrypted and deleted once it’s sent.

Locked-down credentials

Mail sign-in tokens are sealed with keys held in Google Cloud KMS in Toronto, separate from the DigitalOcean servers that use them. Your Zip Mail account uses passkeys, so there’s no password to steal.

No ads, no trackers

No advertising or tracking SDKs in the app, and none on this website either. Our relay servers and database are hosted on DigitalOcean in Canada (Toronto). Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

We use US-based subprocessors: Apple APNs for encrypted notifications, Google for Gmail notifications, and Anthropic only if cloud AI extras are enabled. See the privacy policy for details.

Last updated 2026-09-28: the relay hosting plan now uses Canada (Toronto), with encryption keys in Toronto.
